PHILADELPHIA – Good morning, Philadelphia, Delaware, and the surrounding areas! Today is a day of celebration as Eagles fans flood the streets for the much-anticipated Eagles Super Bowl Victory Parade. While the Super Bowl itself was nerve-wracking, today promises to be all about joy, unity, and an outpouring of love for the champions!
Parade Route & Schedule
The setup began earlier this week, with fences and portable toilets installed throughout the city in preparation for over one million fans expected to join the festivities.
The parade kicks off at 11 a.m. at the intersection of Broad Street and Pattison Avenue in South Philadelphia. From there, it will move north along Broad Street, making its way to the Philadelphia Museum of Art on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, where it is expected to arrive between 12:30 and 1 p.m.
At 2 p.m., the official victory ceremony will commence on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, wrapping up around 3:15 p.m. Expect speeches from players, coaches, and team officials as they soak in the adoration of the Eagles’ faithful.
Best Places to Watch the Eagles Parade
Fans eager to witness the historic moment should choose their viewing spot wisely. The parade route runs up Broad Street, loops around the west side of City Hall, and then continues up Ben Franklin Parkway, ending at the Art Museum.
For a less crowded experience, consider watching from South Broad Street. The closer you get to the Art Museum, the denser the crowds will be, making it harder to secure a good vantage point. For those who don’t mind the energy of packed streets, the Ben Franklin Parkway is the place to be!
To accommodate all fans, jumbotrons will be placed along the parade route, ensuring everyone can get a good view of the action.
Safety Measures for Paradegoers
Philadelphia’s Office of Emergency Management has deployed more than 50 local, state, federal, and non-governmental agencies to ensure safety along the parade route.
The Philadelphia Fire Department has also set up medic tents at key locations:
- 24th Street & Benjamin Franklin Parkway (south side)
- Pennsylvania Avenue & Spring Garden Street
- Aviator Park (19th Street & Benjamin Franklin Parkway)
If you see anyone in need of medical attention or assistance, please direct them to the nearest tent or alert a police officer.
Parade attendees can also sign up for free text alerts for updates on transit, weather, and safety. Simply text READYEAGLES to 888-777 to stay informed.
