Die-Hard Eagles Fans Camp Out 24 Hours Early for Super Bowl Parade: ‘I’m Gonna Spend the Entire Night Here’

With the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl parade set to kick off at 11 a.m. on Friday, devoted fans aren’t taking any chances when it comes to securing the best spots. Some have already staked their claim near the Art Museum—nearly 24 hours before the first floats roll through the city.

Camping Out for a Championship Celebration

As temperatures drop and winds pick up, the most passionate Eagles fans remain unfazed. FOX 29’s Steve Keeley caught up with early arrivals on Ben Franklin Parkway, where they’ve set up camp in anticipation of the massive celebration.

“We do this every Super Bowl,” said Al, one of the early birds. “In 2018, we were out here doing the same thing.”

Al, who was just 16 years old during the Eagles’ last Super Bowl parade, is back once again, determined to soak in every moment.

For Eric and DeSean, the best seats in the house aren’t inside a stadium but right near the team’s stage. “It’s like a luxury suite at the 50-yard line—just without the heat, the bathroom, or hot meals,” they joked.

A Night of Eagles Pride

While some fans brace for a sleepless, chilly night, the excitement is keeping spirits high.

“I don’t wanna be asleep. I’m gonna be up all night,” said one enthusiastic fan. “Plenty more of my cousins are coming, so we’re gonna be down here just chilling.”

For longtime supporter Rick Reilly, the discomfort is a small price to pay for a front-row seat to history. “I love the Eagles, and I wanna see them up close,” he said. “We’ve been to most of the games, all the playoff games—went to the Superdome in Louisiana to see them—and I just can’t wait for tomorrow.”

A Million-Strong Celebration

With nearly one million people expected to flood the city for the parade, the energy is electric. The wait may be cold and long, but for Eagles fans, nothing beats being part of a championship moment in the heart of Philadelphia.

As the Lombardi Trophy flags whip in the wind, these die-hard fans are proving that no amount of cold can cool their love for the Birds.
