LeBron James made history on Thursday night, scoring 42 points to join Michael Jordan as the only players over 40 to score 40+ points in an NBA game. His impressive performance led the Los Angeles Lakers to a 120-112 win over the Golden State Warriors. James also grabbed a season-high 17 rebounds, dished out eight assists, and hit six 3-pointers as the Lakers secured their fourth straight victory and 10th in their last 12 games.

Austin Reaves contributed 23 points, while Gabe Vincent added 15 on five 3-pointers. Rui Hachimura and Jaxson Hayes scored 11 points each, and Jarred Vanderbilt grabbed 14 rebounds in the victory. Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 37 points and seven rebounds, including 19 points in the fourth quarter, but his efforts weren’t enough as Golden State fell short.

Edwards was coming off a 49-point performance on Wednesday. Rookie Jaylen Clark added a career-high 17 points, and both Naz Reid and Rudy Gobert registered double-doubles. Jalen Green scored 28 points for Houston, but the Rockets suffered their fifth straight loss.

Nuggets 112, Magic 90
Nikola Jokic recorded his 24th triple-double of the season with 28 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds as the Denver Nuggets defeated the Orlando Magic 112-90. Michael Porter Jr. added 30 points, and Christian Braun contributed 16. Wendell Carter Jr. led the Magic with 19 points in the loss, as Orlando wrapped up a difficult road trip at 1-5.
