NBA Reschedules Games Affected by Wildfires and Snowstorm, Includes Key Matchups in March and April

The NBA announced rescheduled dates for several games that were postponed earlier this month, including the highly anticipated San Antonio Spurs vs. Los Angeles Lakers matchup, which was delayed due to the wildfires in Southern California. The game will now be played on March 17.

In addition, the NBA also set a new date for the Milwaukee Bucks vs. New Orleans Pelicans game that was postponed because of a snowstorm in New Orleans. This game is now scheduled for April 6.

To accommodate these changes, seven other games scheduled for March and April were also moved. The Orlando Magic had three games rescheduled:

  • Their home game against the Chicago Bulls was moved from March 12 to March 6.
  • A road game at San Antonio was pushed back from March 17 to April 1.
  • A road game against New Orleans was moved up from April 6 to March 13.

The Bucks also had their March road games adjusted, with their game at the Lakers shifted from March 18 to March 20, and their trip to Golden State moved up from March 20 to March 18.

Additionally, the Toronto Raptors’ road game against the Golden State Warriors was moved from March 19 to March 20, while the Bucks’ home game against the Pelicans was switched from April 9 to April 10.

These rescheduled games ensure that the NBA season continues smoothly despite the disruptions caused by the natural events earlier this month.
